About The Role

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Acquisitions, the Real Estate Acquisitions Analyst will be working closely with our Acquisitions team and key stakeholders in the development, leasing, finance, sales, marketing and construction teams to provide leadership with financial analysis, insights, valuations and projections.

 

What You'll Do

  • Perform complex financial analyses on development land and income producing properties, evaluate projects based on different performance metrics, and report on insights to provide leadership with financial projections and valuations;
  • Gather financial data and conduct research to develop financial models and forecast future capital needs for acquisition opportunities;
  • Liaise with departments across the organization to keep project budgets, proformas and financial models up to date;
  • Stay informed on construction and real estate market research and trends;
  • Support the acquisitions team in areas outside of financial analysis, such as due diligence process, market research, and business development.

 

What You Bring

  • Post-secondary education in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or Business;
  • Three (3) years of experience in real estate financial modelling and analysis;
  • Strong Excel skills demonstrated through experience creating complex proformas and financial models for development projects and income producing properties;
  • Demonstrated ability to listen and communicate intently, building strong relationships across the organization and with external partners; 
  • Highly organized, with a strong ability to anticipate needs and deliver on commitments; 
  • Demonstrated experience in the ability to meet tight deadlines while managing stakeholder deliverables;
  • Experience with Argus Enterprise will be considered an asset.

 

Salary

The expected base salary range for this role is $86,200 - $107,700. Our salary ranges and bonus percentages are determined by job family and level. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, years of relevant experience, and internal equity.
