About The Role

Reporting to the Manager, IT Operations, the Service Delivery Specialist is a valued partner to a variety of stakeholders across the business, acting as the first point of contact for all hardware and software troubleshooting requests. This individual will play a critical role in supporting 300 users with the day-to-day operations of the business by ensuring that the technology employed throughout the business is running smoothly and efficiently. 

 

What You'll Do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for user support inquiries, diagnosing and resolving technical issues for end-users;
  • Facilitate onboarding & offboarding process for employees, ensuring they have all required hardware and software;
  • Manage the internal ticketing process and escalate tickets internally or to third party partners as necessary;
  • Troubleshoot workstations and software issues across all departments, ensuring smooth operations;
  • Assist with offsite presentation center set-up, including telecom, wireless, copiers, and firewalls.
  • Provide hands-on support conference rooms and audio/visual set-ups on-site;
  • Maintain hardware, software, and device inventory, ensuring accuracy and availability;
  • Manage vendor relationships and procurement for new hardware and software needs;
  • Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to enhance business operations;
  • Identify procedure and process improvements, conducting research on potential solutions;
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the ‘IT Manual’, and spearhead the creation of user guides to enhance the adoption and usage of technology use across the business;
  • Collaborate with end-users to foster technology adoption and enhance user experience.

What You Bring

  • Two (2) + years of experience in an IT Operations support role where you’ve gained experience in:
    • VoIP phone systems;
    • Working with third party vendors;
    • Troubleshooting with MS Office products (including O365);
    • Working in Windows 10, Windows 11, and iOS.
  • Diploma in Computer Information Systems Administration or equivalent work experience;
  • Understanding and empathy for end-users, with a proven ability to deliver a positive user experience;
  • Resourcefulness and collaboration in troubleshooting issues and user requests;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel and adapt quickly to changing priorities, with optimism and positivity;
  • Demonstrated ability to listen and communicate intently, building strong relationships across the organization and with external partners;  
  • Experience with FreshService, MDM, SharePoint, and AWS will be considered an asset.

 

Salary

The expected base salary range for this role is $74,400 - $102,300. Our salary ranges and bonus percentages are determined by job family and level. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, years of relevant experience, and internal equity.
