About The Role

Bosa Properties is looking for a Community Manager to lead the management our new residential rental building in Squamish, creating a vibrant and exceptional resident experience. Reporting to the Residential Property Manager, this individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the provision of a best-in-class resident experience, managing day-to-day operations, financial management and building an exceptional team.

 

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute strategies to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all residents;
  • Act as a first point of contact for resident inquiries, implementing a resident communication plan to address their inquiries and keep them informed with building updates and community news;
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential building, ensuring it is well-maintained, safe, and clean;
  • Organize and oversee resident events, programs, and activities to encourage community involvement;
  • Lead a high-performing and motivated building management team, fostering collaboration, communication, and shared goals;
  • Collaborate with maintenance team and external partners to promptly address resident maintenance requests and building repairs;
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with building regulations and safety standards;
  • Monitor rent collections, expenses, and financial reports, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing revenue generation;
  • Manage the annual budget, monitor rent collections, process invoices and maintain financial records;
  • Provide support with leasing through managing inquiries, maintaining suite availability, conducting showings, reporting and facilitating move-ins and outs;
  • Source and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring high service quality and cost-effectiveness.

What You Bring

  • Two (2)+ years of management experience;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead an inclusive team, focused on learning and professional growth and development;
  • A positive and initiative-taking attitude, with a willingness to take action and contribute to the success of the community;
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, team members and external partners;
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple priorities in parallel;
  • Experience in Property Management or Community Development will be considered an asset;
  • Experience with financial management and budgeting will be considered an asset;
  • Experience with a property management software (Yardi preferred) will be considered an asset.

Salary

The expected base salary range for this role is $72,600-$99,800. Our salary ranges and bonus percentages are determined by job family and level. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, years of relevant experience, and internal equity.
