About The Role

Bosa Properties is actively building out the FP&A team with a Senior Analyst to support our business leaders in complex, long-term decision making as we continue to grow the company. This role will play a critical role in designing and maintaining financial models to report on KPIs and business performance and providing strategic insights to enable more effective decision making.

 

What You'll Do

  • Create, standardize, and maintain innovative and dynamic financial models.
  • Prepare and consolidate forecast updates into analyses, dashboards, and reporting presentations to help drive strategic planning, operational, and investment decisions;
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, analyses with regards to actuals, budgets, and projections;
  • Prepare monthly financial and operational dashboard updates to help evaluate performance against business plan targets;
  • Drive the process for quarterly reviews and rolling forecast updates with divisional and departmental leaders and senior management;
  • Facilitate the business review process in validating and analyzing submissions of financial reports from departmental leaders and senior management;
  • Perform variance analyses and forecasts to help make key business decisions;
  • Create insightful reports and KPIs to monitor performance vs plan;
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure quality of financial data and analyze financial results;
  • Continuously improve reporting and analytics in areas including: working capital management; cash flow modeling, business KPI performance, capital project return analyses and fees/costs analyses.

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive and relevant real estate development FP&A experience;
  • Post secondary education in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Highly proficient in Excel, with the ability to build financial models from scratch (if required).
  • Ability to work in in complex spreadsheets and interpret large volumes of business data;
  • Skilled at simplifying the intricacies of business challenges and presenting the important details in clear, concise summaries.
  • Ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders and maintain trust and integrity;
  • Designated CPA or CFA will be considered an asset;
  • Experience with Power BI will be considered an asset.

Salary

The expected base salary range for this role is $97,800 to $134,400. Our salary ranges and bonus percentages are determined by job family and level. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, years of relevant experience, and internal equity.
